I would recommend to everyone willing to provide accessible content to an ever growing and already large number of Mobile Web users. Cannot remember the exact source of information claiming to have more mobile devices per head of population than TV sets, if that is not enough prove will be difficult to convince you not to sign…
Internet Explorer User Agent Style Sheets
Here is a an interesting resource with a table displaying default Internet Explorer browser styles applying to the content.
Towards the bottom of the page you will find a link to other Browsers UA Style Sheets.
I find this a usefull reference.
Greetings
Good to see your site up. Thanks for adding me to your blogroll.
W3C’s Mobile Web Best Practices
Hello,
I have found a link trough an email subscription for W3C’s Mobile Web Best Practices course. (http://www.3gwebtrain.com/moodle/) for those interested.
Me as a heavy mobile internet user I can not imagine my life without T-Mobile Web and Walk unlimited Mobile internet and working in the industry – building websites, I felt that this is a must to sign up for the cource. I believe that Mobile devices are becoming much more suitable to meet the daily Internet access needs and will be becoming increasingly popular. Not only the devices are increasing in quality of provided content but the Web should be prepared to handle accurately all requests from so many more mobile devices with OS and browser combination. How people like me and you can influence that is what I am hoping to find out in this course.
Here are the images from my first assignment, this involved browsing three internet sites trough a mobile device answering three questions:
* What worked well?
* What did you find difficult?
* How could the experience be improved
